• Silk Caye National Park Tour - Take a beautiful hour long boat ride to a tiny pristine tropical island close to the Belize Barrier Reef, within the "Gladden Spit and Silk Cayes Marine Reserve". Jump in the water for a 45 minute, snorkel with your experienced guides to see the wonders of the underwater world. A delicious barbecue lunch will be ready on your arrival back at the island. After lunch, you will be taken to snorkel with turtles, stingrays and nurse sharks in a shallow seagrass area. All gears provided, including life vests for snorkeling if required.
• Xunantunich – Guided tour of the magnificent Mayan ruin Xunantunich. Travel across a hand-cranked ferry to visit this 6- plaza site with preserved stellae. Climb to the top of the El Castillo Temple (second largest temple in Belize) for a sweeping view of Belize and Guatemala.
• Belize Botanical Gardens Stop - When you visit Belize Botanic Gardens you will be amazed to know that this property was nothing but cleared farmland in 1993 when Ken duPlooy bought it and started planting. This 45-acre garden is now home to over 2000 plant species, including hundreds of native species of plants and trees.
• Green Iguana Project Stop - The Green Iguana Conservation Project is a continuous effort that aims to conserve and look after the endangered Green Iguana species in Belize. The Project uses interactive exhibits and programs to help educate visitors and create awareness among the general public. Here, visitors are given the opportunity mingle with these wonderful reptiles and also, learn the about the incubation, hatching, rearing, and releasing process.
• Cha Chem Ha Cave Tour - Discovered by a local farmer, this cave is most notable for its unique collection of Mayan artwork and artifacts. Visitors with an interest in archaeology will appreciate the cave’s entrance, which is decorated with Mayan motifs and the extensive assortment of ancient storage jars, called “ollas,” that line the walls of its chambers.Inside Che Chem Ha, there are many ladders, each leading to chambers high within the cave, places where many ollas still contain maize and other staples of the ancient Maya diet. Because these antiquities are so distinctly representative of Mayan life, the cave is carefully monitored to prevent looting and visitors are only allowed to enter when escorted by an experienced resident guide. This cave tour is suitable for guests in good physical condition.

Day with the Garcia Sisters - $70.00 per person

Through cultural preservation, an eco natural lifestyle of self sufficiency, and creative inspiration they are able to share their Mayan Experience, Herbal Remedies and Teas, Art Center Exports, and Museum Exhibits.
The Garcia Sisters live in the small village of San Antonio, called Tanah in their native language, nestled between the blue Maya Mountains and the town of San Ignacio in the Cayo District of Belize (an English speaking country on the Caribbean Coast of Central America). Tanah was once inhabited by the ancient Maya whose presence can still be felt through the traces of pottery and majestic temples to be seen all over the area. The present day village of about 1,500 Mayans was settled in the late 1800's by the Yucateca Tribe.

Day 3 Jaguar Reserve - $100.00 per person

Take a scenic 45 drive to the world's only jaguar preserve. Make a stop to learn about the banana plantation and another to check out the "Maya Centre" where you can buy local souvenirs. The first part of this tour is a natural history hike where Doyle, the tour guide will teach you about all of the flora and fauna of the area. Anything you want to know, he'll tell you. After a delicious provided lunch comes the optional second half of the tour. Grab an inner tube and hike down to the South Stann Creek River where you will float along for around an hour. After this, you will take another hike to a beautiful waterfall where you can swim to your heart's content. Next up is an amazing experience sure to be the highlight of your day, an adventure zipping down natural water slides. You'll be sliding down moss-covered rocks with Doyle giving you step by step instructions. Nothing to fear!!!

Kriol Firehearth Cooking, Drumming and an
Ixcacao Chocolate Tour - $125.00 per person
Taste of Belize
Lyra Spang will take us on an adventure to Punta Gorda Belize’s most culturally diverse town, to experience rural Kriol culture. At Emmeth and Jill’s small farm we start with a brief history of the Belizean Kriol people. We then walk around the grounds learning about the plants that provide many of the ingredients and seasoning for Belizean cooking. Get a hands on experience preparing your own meal on a Kriol-style firehearth using local ingredients including root vegetables and greens from the farm. Learn how to make dishes like baked fish in waha leaf, boil-up, coconut soup, roasted plantain and lemongrass tea. While the food is cooking enjoy a lesson in Kriol drumming from a drum master, then sit down to a delicious fire hearth meal!
After lunch we head to Ixcacao Chocolate, a Maya owned company located in the verdant village of San Felipe, for dessert. Enjoy samples of Ixcacao’s organic farm-to-table chocolate, try Maya style hot chocolate and make your own chocolate bar from scratch using heirloom stone tools. We end with a tour of Ixcacao’s tiny factory and shop.
