Mastering
Have you just finished recording and mixing your album at home but still aren't satisfied with its lack of "professional" sound?
With the decrease in production budgets and the increase in home studios, professional mastering has become an absolute, crucial necessity and not a luxury relegated to major labels with hefty post-production budgets.
Our studio uses audiophile-grade equipment to get a world class-mastering house. Successful mastering is a complex process that requires decades of experience, creativity, and keen, intuitive listening skills with technical expertise of sophisticated mastering processors commonly found only in a world class-mastering lab.
We have been mastering and cutting hit records of all genres for major and independent labels, producers, DJs and artists for over 2 decades.
Our routine mastering procedures include:
- . Optimizing average and peak volume levels from track to track
- . Creating balance and uniformity from cut to cut
- . Determining and selecting the appropriate processor best suited for your material
- . Applying compression, peak limit, and EQ on each track as necessary
- . Adjusting or unifying spacing between tracks
- . Editing minor noise/clicks between tracks
- . Fading start and end of each track as necessary
- . Applying noise reduction to eliminate hiss or hum as necessary
- . Arranging tracks in final sequence
- . Inserting track PQ codes (track IDs) required for replication
- . Adding IRSC codes and/or CD Text as necessary
- . Transfering Mastered Audio to final PMCD for replication, duplication, vinyl transfer, or digital distribution.
